Accessing Our Banked Samples
Our samples are available to local, national and international research groups. In order to access our specimen collection and associated clinical data, researchers will need to obtain approval of the Research Ethics Board from their host institution and provide us with a study research proposal. To preserve the samples contained in our biobank, all tissue requests must be approved by the Cardiovascular Tissue Registry's Scientific Advisory Board. Please contact us to arrange a consultation.
Developing New Protocols
If you are looking for samples that the our biobank does not currently contain, we can work with you and the clinical and surgical teams at St. Paul's Hospital to develop novel protocols to acquire the specimens you need. Please contact us for further information.
